SCDREH is one of Al-Azhar University Centers, established by the Prime Minister Decree (489) in 1998.
SCDREH is a premiere facility for the investigation and analysis of environmental contaminants and industrial waste treatment. We are also dedicated to education and awareness around environmental issues in Egypt. The center also provides Internet and e-mail Library services for Researchers and University students. There are currently over 35 graduate students (M.Sc. and PhD) associated with the center.
